2 Kings 21:2-6

2 ^aHe did evil in the sight of the Lord, ^bin accordance with the abominations of the nations whom the Lord ^{▼▼Or drove out}dispossessed before the sons of Israel. 3 For ^dhe rebuilt the high places which his father Hezekiah had destroyed; and ^ehe erected altars for Baal and made an ^{▼▼I.e., a wooden symbol of a female deity}Asherah, just as Ahab king of Israel had done, and he ^gworshiped all the heavenly ^{▼▼Lit host}lights and served them. 4 And ⁱhe built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, “ ^jIn Jerusalem I will put My name.” 5 He built altars for ^kall the heavenly ^{▼▼Lit host}lights in ^mthe two courtyards of the house of the Lord. 6 And ⁿhe made his son pass through the fire, ^ointerpreted signs, practiced divination, and used mediums and spiritists. He did great evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him to anger.
